What Is MBSR?

For many of us, the times we live in are very hard. It can be a struggle to simply make it through the day. The central question for me becomes “how can we begin to meet life’s challenges so we don’t become overwhelmed by life’s difficulties?”

MBSR means “Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction”.  It  is an approach to self-care that helps deal with stress, pain and illness. The MBSR course teaches people to focus awareness on body sensations, thoughts, and emotions in a non-judgmental and trauma-informed way.

Here’s a short video about mindfulness.
